To certify as a “Regional natural park” the territory of the Périgord-Limousin is to reinforce an identity, renew attractiveness, preserve the quality of the environment and the quality of life of its inhabitants, promote sustainable tourism.

Since its creation in 1998, the Park is working to improve water quality, preserve biodiversity, enhance local resources, strengthen local identity and social networks.

Proud of its rich Occitan identity, the Park offers a rich heritage which can be discovered in the heart of a specially managed natural site or during the visit to a chateau, and also many skills as proved by local artisans.

The Practical Guide invites you to explore, feel and share all that the well-loved Périgord-Limousin region has to offer.
