Le Territorial Food Project the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park recently received a level 2 recognition by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Food Sovereignty. Level 2 of a Territorial Food Project demonstrates a comprehensive approach of the subject of food, and the coherence of the actions undertaken. This recognition and the grant obtained will allow the Park to continue its activities. The Park will also continue Support for managers of institutional restaurants, particularly in school canteens and nursing homes. Awareness campaigns targeting all audiences, creation of educational tools et fight against food insecurity, are also on the agenda. Furthermore, the Park's Territorial Food Project (level 2) plans to work towards facilitating the implementation of vulnerability assessments of farms in the face of climate changeFinally, specific support for elected officials will be offered within the framework of projects aimed at preserving agricultural land.
