Illustration competition "Périgord-Limousin in 2050"

As part of its "Adapting to Climate Change" mission, the Regional Natural Park is launching a major illustration competition on the theme "Périgord-Limousin in 2050." Open to all, this competition invites participants to imagine the future of Périgord-Limousin in the face of the challenges of climate change. Utopia, dystopia… anything goes!

The competition is open from May 15 to August 15, 2026 and organized in partnership with the recycling center “It's moving!“The announcement of the winners and the awarding of prizes will take place during October.

Heatwaves, fires, summer droughts... Climate projections are not encouraging, and the Périgord-Limousin region, although still preserved, will not be spared. In 2050, temperatures in the Park's territory will be similar to those in Nîmes today, summer rain will be rare, and we may have experienced fires similar to those in the Landes de Gascogne. What path will we choose to adapt? What will our daily lives, those of animals and plants, look like in a difficult and uncertain climate? What will we imagine so that "another life can be invented here"?

Submission of illustrations

To submit your illustration, you have two options:

This form is best for illustrations created directly with a digital tool. For paper illustrations, please use the designated drop-off points (see below). However, it is possible to scan or photograph a paper illustration and submit it via this form, particularly for participants who live far from the drop-off points. Please attach the illustration in optimal quality (300 dpi) to allow for printing and use in future exhibitions. The Park reserves the right to refuse a submission if the quality of the submitted file is insufficient.

• At one of the 20 drop-off points across the territory

The Park and its partners have set up various drop-off points throughout the Park's territory, where you can drop off your illustration during opening hours.

All participants must complete a participation form, which will be provided by the reception staff. The Park will not accept any artwork submitted without a form or with an incomplete form.
