Arriving by Nexon, take the opportunity to visit the Jardin des Sens or go to St-Hilaire-les-Places to visit the Atelier Musée de la Terre. Then, follow the Richard Coeur de Lion route to discover the castles: Rilhac- Lastours (costumed visit to the Castle in summer, jousting, etc.), Châlus, Montbrun, Brie... On the road, take the time to take breaks: in Dournazac the ascent of the Grand Puyconnieux will offer you the most beautiful view of the Park without forgetting a picnic break*, on the site of the Bonnes fountains of Cussac for example.

To end the day, go to Maisonnais-sur-Tardoire to visit a honey house and buy “Valeurs Parc naturel régional” brand honey. Finally, please note that you can take part in a hot air balloon flight in the evening, upon reservation.

FOR THE MOST SPORTY

Visit the Espace Hermeline site in Bussière-Galant where many sporting activities await you: tree climbing or zip line for the more adventurous, or even rail bike for families. At midday you can have lunch* at the edge of the lake.

Finally in the afternoon, rent a bike at Châlus station and follow the greenway to Oradour-sur-Vayres (possibility of visiting the crafts shop at the OT) or borrow a donkey for a walk in Champagnac-la-Rivière.

From the villages of Haut Périgord to the Périgord Granitique: another landscape awaits you!

Start the morning by going to Varaignes. You can visit the Weavers' Workshop Museum located in the castle or the Lud'eau vive, a site for discovering the hydraulic and botanical heritage.

At midday, head to Saint-Estèphe to take a lunch break at the edge of the landscaped pond or a country snack at the Café “Le petit baigneur”. In the afternoon, take a walk around the pond, or discover the granite chaos of Roc Branlant and Chaplet du Diable. You can also go to Augignac to the Roche Eiside site or fish at the Merles ponds.

At the end of the day, pass through Piégut, known for its famous Wednesday morning market (stop to see the tower).
