From the Dronne Valley to Nizonne: between historical and natural riches

Enter the Park via Brantôme and visit its Abbey. You can then take a guided tour of the city on foot or enjoy a boat trip on the Dronne. At midday, you can have a picnic in the large Jardin des Moines in Brantôme or go have a snack at the Café in Monsec.

In the afternoon, go to Champeau-et-la-Chapelle-Pommier to visit the Château des Bernardières. To end your day, head to La Rochebeaucourt-et-Argentine to take a walk on the Argentine Plateau trail. In spring you can see more than thirty species of orchids. If you wish, you can take part in a hot air balloon flight in the evening, upon reservation.

From the Bandiat valley to the Dronne valley: between know-how and natural and architectural heritage

Start the morning in Nontron with a visit to the Cutlery and its famous Nontron Knife then go to the Pôle Expérimental Métiers d'Art to visit its exhibition space and also its beautiful boutique!

At midday, discover the Assiette de Pays! In Nontron, Champs-Romain or St-Pardoux-la-Rivière, enjoy delicious plates made with products by passionate restaurateurs. Then, continue your day with a walk with donkeys at Abjat-sur-Bandiat or at Champs-Romain, for a digestive walk at Saut du Chalard or Saint-Saud-Lacoussière at Trou de Philippou.

At the end of the day, take the opportunity to go to Villars, on the southern edge of the Park, visit the famous caves and or the Château de Puyguilhem and make a stop at Boschaud Abbey.
