A 200 km journey for 7 to 10 days of walking or 3 to 4 days of mountain biking is offered to hikers through the Perigord plateaus and valleys, the Limousin bocage and the chestnut forests. Mountain bike enthusiasts will complete the loop in 3 or 4 days! Thanks to the proximity of public transport (train, bus) and greenways, it is also possible to modulate your roaming as desired, which is one of the strong points of this Grande Boucle.
A brochure (below) has been published especially for hikers, available in the Tourist offices and at the Maison du parc: guided by stories with a local accent, they will set off to meet “ the people of aquí » and Occitan legends which give pride of place to some emblematic characters of Périgord-Limousin, such as the “lébérou” or the “fadetas”… We also find in this guide the maps of the route indicating the points of interest, services and accommodation options.
