Community advice
Elected officials from the Park's municipalities and intermunicipalities work on a daily basis on concrete regional projects: developing a town, renovating a municipal building, writing the future of the territories in town planning documents, etc.
Climate-energy issues are increasingly present: land use planning choices, work priorities, choice of materials, choice of energy, etc. The question of greenhouse gases and energy consumption arises in many choices.
For elected officials, it's not easy to navigate: you need to know the regulatory context and its evolution, understand the technical possibilities, learn about innovative practices, identify opportunities and risks, etc.
It is to respond to these challenges that the Park advises and supports the region's elected officials:
- Through awareness and information sessions: Sustainable Development Sessions
- Through individual support for communities that wish it: advice and technical support, etc.
- By organizing collective initiatives, responding to calls for national projects, etc.
