Star Watchers

“Understanding the night, to better preserve it?” This is the objective of the Périgord-Limousin Park!

To involve residents in this initiative, a group of citizen volunteers was formed. Equipped with specific devices, these watchers and stargazers take light pollution measurements across the territory. In 4, they were also trained in recognizing nocturnal birds of prey, in order to participate in monitoring these species.
