Visit to the Château de Brie and its medieval barn

s

Description

Come visit a fully furnished castle, inhabited on a daily basis, and a magnificent medieval barn. You will discover a house that lives! Take a walk in the park and ask the guide (most often, the owner of the place) to give you ideas for walks along the surrounding paths.
In the Castle (built in 1484 by Jehan de Brie and having belonged to the Mirabeau family), you will discover a magnificent keep and its terminal ribbed vault, the Poet's Room, the Renaissance dining room and the magnificent XNUMXth century living room with stucco decorations. We will tell you the history of these rooms, some of the furniture and the people who lived there.
In the park, an old medieval garrison building, since transformed into a Limousin barn, will amaze you with its superb framework, turrets and firing points.
