Description
The St-Estèphe Pond, designed for swimming during the summer season, is a place which offers various possibilities for outdoor sports: mountain biking, archery, orienteering, etc.
The Saint-Estèphe reservoir contributes to the large complex of large lakes of Périgord Vert which are used by migratory birds stopping over during their journey, as well as wintering. It is during this season that we will make the most of this site. We may be lucky enough, during a harsh winter, to observe the stranded loon there.
The osprey and terns are regularly observed migrating there, and more sedentary species such as the black woodpecker or the wagtail can also be looked for.
