Description
The association of Veterans of the Resistance (Oradour sur Vayres-Cussac) has reconstituted the caches of the Maquisards in the Boubon forest. The "gourbis" are secure, and are located at the entrance to the Boubon Forest via the Chapelle Montbrandeix road, at the start of the "Boubon Forest" hiking circuit (topofiche available at the tourist office and on the Haute-Vienne hiking website). Since spring 2022, the caches have been "uncovered" following partial deforestation as part of the maintenance of the Boubon forest, but the caches and information panels remain accessible.
