Beauvais Castle

Description

Built in the 15th and 16th centuries by the families of Conan and Faure on a Templar lair. Beauvais Castle is a vast square building, flanked by two
round towers with machicolations. It dominates the narrow valley that separates it from the village of Lussas. Listed in the supplementary inventory of Historic Monuments.
Dates of visits (allow 1 hours):
July: Monday to Friday, from the 13th to the 31st
August: Monday to Friday from the 03rd to the 22nd, except Monday the 10th, 28th and 29th
September: 03rd, 04th, 07th, 08th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th
Visits by appointment the rest of the year and open for Châteaux en Fête and European Heritage Days.
Adult €10, child €5 (6 to 18 years), free for under 6s.
Groups limited to 15 people
