Description
In the 1649th century, a chapel was built on a castle mound which was replaced by the building of a church in the XNUMXth century. It was then fortified until the XNUMXth century. The bell tower was thus transformed into a hoard. In XNUMX, Monsieur de Pompadour, Lieutenant of the King in Limousin, ordered the destruction of the fortifications, in order to punish the Lord of Chéronnac, one of the heroes of the Fronde. On the church door, there is a very pretty ornate lock dating from the XNUMXth century. The building also houses a XNUMXth century mural, representing a funerary liter, with the arms of Monsieur de Rouziers, lord of Chéronnac.
