Description
Founded near the castle, the church had the vicarage of this castle as a branch. The Romanesque church has survived intact in some of its parts which seem to date back to the 11th century. It is a single-nave building with a rectangular plan with cut sides at the apse, giving a pentagonal sanctuary. Two recent side chapels lean against the north and south walls. The nave is vaulted with a low cob ceiling. The abutments of the capitals of the nave are molded with a triple quarter round, a frequent motif in the 11th century. At the west end of the nave rises an octagonal bell tower.
