Description
Located in the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park, the Étouars and Soudat ancient fruit orchards are both part of the Aquitaine Regional Plant Conservatory network.
In Étouars, pome fruits are in the spotlight: over an area of almost one hectare, walk between more than 30 varieties of apple trees, as well as pear trees, fig trees and even vines. In Soudat, discover old varieties of stone fruits such as peach or nectar trees. In the two orchards, the trees come in several forms, tall stems or trellised forms.
You want to know more ? Take part in technical days in spring (grafting, pruning, etc.) or in the Etouars orchard discovery day organized in October: at the end of a guided tour, various activities are offered to you (identification workshops, tastings, conferences, etc.).
