The commune of Saint-Hilaire-les-Places, with the support of the Haute-Vienne Chamber of Agriculture, has committed to promoting short supply chains by offering healthy, local food through “Les Casiers Paysans” vending machines.
They offer residents of the town, surrounding towns and passing tourists 100% local and seasonal fresh produce. It is possible to find self-service: drinks, cold meats, jams & honey, preserves, desserts, cheeses, fruits and vegetables, ready meals, meats (beef, pork, poultry), etc.
The aim of the Casiers Paysans is to strengthen the link between local producers and consumers, by promoting the work of our farmers and contributing to the revitalization of our rural economy.
