Description
Nestled in the park of the Château de Nexon, the garden is located between the retirement home and the school complex, a true “Bridge between generations”. It exalts all the senses: hearing with the bamboo labyrinth where the breath of the air invents melodies, touch with the bark garden where around thirty “special” trees quiver under caresses, taste with the orchard where old varieties rub shoulders with a small collection of hazelnut trees, the sense of smell with the tunnel of scents welcoming plants with unusual smells (chocolate, pineapple, peanut, etc.), the view with a rainbow of perennial plants. A magnificent collection of sages of more than 150 varieties registered in the conservatory of specialized plant collections is also kept there, demonstrating the municipality's involvement in the preservation of our environment.
