Description
Sainte-Croix parish church dating from the 21th century. Built, according to local tradition, at the place where a pilgrim returning from Jerusalem and carrying a fragment of the true Cross would have rested. It is made up of three naves with three bays, the third bay of the central nave forming the choir. It has a remarkable church treasure made up of XNUMX reliquaries: statuettes, crosses and reliquary arms, ciboria, monstrances. It notably includes two magnificent reliquary shrines from the XNUMXth century, in embossed copper and champlevé enamel, the reliquary box of Saint André-Hubert Fournet, a Poitevin priest, and the reliquary box of Saint Blaise, which was restored in the XNUMXth century.
