After traveling 5 km in Haute-Vienne from Bussière-Galant on the recent GR®89, you will reach Firbeix at kilometer 9. From there, the GR®654 will take you south to the villages of Saint-Pierre-de- Frugie and La Coquille, gateway to the PNR Périgord-Limousin and a center of Jacobean history.
You will discover the hilly and varied landscapes culminating at an altitude of more than 450 m (Pays des Feuillardiers, Dronne and Valouse rivers, Bussière lake). At La Coquille: Maison du Parc and Vélorail.
This route is offered to you by the Regional Hiking Committee. From a station or TER bus stop, it allows you to join a walking or hiking route and take an ecomobility ride!
