Located in the heart of the Périgord Vert, the Saint-Estèphe site is part of a rural area of meadows, woodlands, ponds and granite chaos. The various developments have favored continuity between the walks on the decks and the old roadway. The large pond of Saint-Estèphe has the characteristic of integrating equipment intended to accommodate the disabled but also to guarantee them access to swimming, canoeing, fishing and walking. A ferry also allows you to make a complete tour of the body of water.
Route stages
Stage 1 - Departure from the pond car park. Go to the beach, then take the footbridge to the right to follow the path along the water (around the large pond). Pass near the fishing pontoon intended for the disabled and continue to the Bike-Park.
Step 2 - Continue to the “create your pond” sign. Go to the ferry and take it to cross to the other bank. Follow the path to the sign allowing you to discover some trees and continue to the illustrated table to discover the fish.
Step 3 - Continue along the campsite and take the footbridge on the left. Notice, just before the house the album of the big pond. Return to the parking lot. Possibility of going to the Roc Branlant site to discover the legend of the Rosary.
