Thiviers-Javerlac and La Chapelle St Robert greenway

A true 37 km greenway open exclusively for hiking in the heart of the Périgord Vert, the route follows the old Thiviers-Javerlac and La Chapelle Saint Robert railway line dating from the XNUMXth century. The route invites you to discover the landscape but also the heritage. Through the shade of the deciduous forests, the wild valleys of the Côle and the Dronne are revealed. You can admire the botanical treasures that mark the route.
Along the way, don't miss a visit to Saint-Jean-de-Côle, one of the most beautiful villages in France, and Nontron, home of the oldest folding knife in France. Nearby, beautiful villages will welcome you, as will Thiviers, Saint-Pardoux-La-Rivière and Nontron, which will offer you services and entertainment. A route that lends itself to all forms of hiking, on foot, mountain biking, and horse riding.
