Roc Branlant

Description

From the Roc Branlant car park, 300 m from the Grand Etang, a route marked with explanatory panels allows you to discover this Aquitaine Nature site. It takes its name from a large block of granite measuring 3 by 3 meters, left in balance on a rocky table by the slow work of the waters of the river in the middle of which it is located, and swings easily with a simple push .
A string (or granite chaos) of granite blocks extends over a few hundred meters, letting the water reappear, here and there, in discreet lapping sounds. A reach, an old canal bringing water to the mills, designed for walking, will invite you to discover plants all along the ethnobotanical trail. Free access all year round.
