SECOND DAY OF RESIDENCE (FRIDAY MARCH 24, 2024 – ROCHECHOUART)
The meeting between artistic crafts, Occitan culture and the landscapes crossed by the “Great loop of the Park, Vaque veire » more than ever at the heart of this second day of collective work.
Continuing our tour of the Great Loop, vaque veire, it was in Rochechouart, this time, that we arranged to meet. The creators met for an inspiring visit to the Haute-Vienne Museum of Contemporary Art which is currently hosting the “Fiction Theory Basket” exhibition by Natsuko Uchino. This artist develops a transversal practice between art and ecology and revisits the history of techniques and know-how.
Then, the day's discussions led each of the craftsmen to present the final choice of the legend and the plot of land they wish to invest in, before possible collaborations and sources of inspiration are discussed. .
