The Park Experts

Since 2014, the Park has offered a program for students in secondary schools (middle and high schools) in Périgord-Limousin called “Les Experts du Parc”. Prepared in collaboration with National Education and environmental education stakeholders, it is aimed at all general education middle and high schools in the region and gateway cities.

The territory of the Park is a real life-size practical work room for the students of our establishments. The challenge of this program is to allow students to discover their place of life, to know its riches, to understand its complexity and to act to preserve it.

Through a project imagined and selected by the teachers, coordinated by the Park and led by local stakeholders, it is a question of our young people from Périgord-Limousin exploring the territory of the Park. These projects are not an addition to the school curriculum but a support which is fully integrated into the knowledge and skills expected by National Education. Each project is the subject of research and class work, field trips and interventions by facilitators from local education structures.
