The Park Explorers
Since 2007, this program has allowed students in cycles 1 to 3 to benefit from free interventions aimed at enabling them to better understand the issues and riches of their territory.
Why?
● Allow students to know and respect their environment,
● Develop among students a feeling of belonging to the territory and eco-citizen behavior,
● Make students actors in their learning.
Who is it for?
Cycle 1, 2 and 3 classes in schools located in the territory of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Natural Park and its gateway towns (Saint-Junien, Aixe-Sur-Vienne, Nexon, Saint-Yrieix-La-Perche, Thiviers and Brantôme-en-Périgord) can register.
How?
Each teacher can submit an application linked to their class project and a
proposed missions.
If the class is selected, the Park undertakes to finance three interventions (half-days)
including one exit.
The teacher is responsible for planning transport (for the outing if it cannot take place near the school) as well as the speaker's meal (for a full-day intervention).
The Park has a network of partners, they are the ones who carry out the activities. They are selected by the Park in accordance with the public procurement code.
